Tim built TBC the long way.
Started in 2016 with tiny homes and a single shop. Ten years later, TBC manufactures metal, engineers trusses, and stocks lumber for contractors across southern Virginia and northern North Carolina. Same owner. Same phone number. Same answer when you call.

What We Make Today
Everything for the build, from one yard.
TBC supplies the full pole-barn package from one yard in South Boston. Metal is rollformed here, cut to length and color-matched. Trusses are engineered and built here, with clear spans up to 80 feet. Lumber and framing materials are stocked on the yard.
Because it all comes from one place, a contractor gets one quote, one delivery, and one phone number to call when something needs to change. No coordinating three suppliers. No waiting on a coil or a truss order from two states away.
Soffit and metal siding are coming next. The pattern does not change: bring one more part of the build in-house, so the customer has one less handoff to manage.
How We Got Here
Ten years, one yard at a time.
TBC grew the way most supply businesses do not. One capability at a time, paid for by the work in front of us, kept in-house where it mattered.
2016
Founded on tiny homes.
Code-built, turnkey homes finished in the shop and delivered whole, for people who wanted to live smaller and live right.
2019
Into roll forming.
We left tiny homes behind the county red tape and began roll forming our own roofing metal, controlling the product and the timeline ourselves instead of ordering it in.
2021
Beyond wholesale.
When metal got hard to find anywhere, contractors and homeowners across the area came to us. Our customer base grew well past the wholesale accounts we started with.
2024
Lumber, and a bigger shop.
We added lumber for the contractors already buying our metal, and moved into a 30,000 square foot building laid out for three production lines.
2025
Trusses in-house.
We installed a truss press table built for spans up to 80 feet and stocked lumber geared specifically to pole barns.
2026
Room to grow.
We took back our original building, putting us at 45,000 square feet, with new lines for soffit and siding on the way.
